Let me start by saying I have anxiety going to the dentist…there is something vulnerable and quite awful about someone scraping around your soft tissue in your mouth with sharp objects. That being said, Dr Kaindl and ALL of his staff were amazing. They took their time explaining what was happening and why. While I braced for the inevitable scraping, tugging, and jawbreaking pressure, he calmly went to work and I was quite surprised he was done in a jiffy. No pain- which is great, because I’m a wimp. Overall- this was an exceptional experience!

This Periodental office has the most amazing teams working there. I am so impressed with the front office staff who are always so friendly and ready to make your appointments around your schedule. And Dr. Perala is so kind and efficient. I am not kept waiting for long at all. My favorite part, which used to be my worst part, is when I get shots for a procedure. I have never had such a caring experience. I didn't even feel the needle. I was so amazed. I can't recommend them enough. You will feel well cared for here.

I sought treatment for a severe gum injury, and I couldn’t be more impressed with Dr. Kaindl and his assistant Madi. Both were incredibly kind, professional, and made me feel at ease throughout the entire process. I had two surgeries to repair my gum, and the results are nothing short of incredible. I had been dreading my gum graft procedure for years after it was first recommended to me out of state. I’m so grateful I found Salem Perio when I was ready to move ahead. They helped us find the right financing to supplement what insurance didn’t cover. All I can say is, Taylor is just about the best hygienist I've ever been treated by. That says a lot coming from someone, me, who is terrified to sit in the chair due to five years of braces long ago, in the dark ages!! Taylor is passionate about her work, detailed and meticulous, gentle and attentive to the patient. Maybe best of all is how she engages me, teaches me about dental health all the while she's cleaning. She's inspired me to elevate my own home dental care and it's working. Nothing but good experiences here. Their staff and hygienists do great work & care about your health & well-being. My gum health has greatly improved since I first started coming here several years ago. S/O to hygienists T & M for their soft touch. They pay attention to my problem areas with greater sensitivity & aren't abrasive or heavy-handed. No "stone hands" here. Dr Kaindl is also very personable & takes the time to explain things to you. Despite what other reviews have said, I've only seen & had positive interactions between his staff. The guys cares about his patients.

Everyone here is amazing. I see Taylor for cleanings and Dr. Perala for my implant. Previous offices always had to numb me up for those deep cleanings since I have super sensitive teeth but Taylor didn't need to. She's very gentle and careful. Dr. Perala was very patient with my concerns about the implant and helped me through the emotional process as well as the actual process of the implant. Front desk staff are always kind and welcoming. One time there was a billing snafu, but they fixed it right away. As someone who works in customer service, I know that stuff sometimes happens. Getting mad about it doesn't help, and they were able to correct it quickly. The previous negative reviews leave me to believe something similar may have happened but people sometimes prefer to get mad rather than calmly ask for the correction. I love this office and will happily continue going there.

I love these guys! I've always had great treatment here. All the staff are warm and professional. I've been seeing Dr.s here since Dr Wylam shared the practice. I've never been nervous about procedures. They work with me and my insurance. I highly recommend this practice.

Having problems with my older implants as no longer connect able to my lower denture plate. A prior dentist put them in some years ago so thot to see it they had records of his work. Spoke with Cassidy to set appointment. She was most helpful and understanding. She also helped initially with other info her Dr needed and again by explaining financial arrangements, future appointment, etc. Dr Perala & his assistant were also pleasant and efficient in determining work to be done and explaining the procedure. I look forward to getting new implant shafts from this office and would gladly recommend them to friends and family

I can’t say enough positive things about Dr Kaindl and staff. Dr Kaindl is highly professional, extremely competent and reassuring, and puts patients at ease in what is not thought of as a relaxing experience. I had the pleasure to have Dr. Kaindl and Madi. Dr Kaindl is one of a kind, not only is he professional and does phenomenal work, but he connects with you and makes it a more personal experience. He goes out of his way to accommodate your needs and makes you feel comfortable. I had extensive work done, and would go back to him 10/10 times. When I arrived in Corvallis over 6 years ago, I saw a periodontist in that town. The second or third time I saw him, he said I had problems with both sides of the two upper molars. He recommended extracting one if not both of the ones on the right side. He devised a treatment plan for that side, involving sinus augmentation and extraction for $7,000. I decided to get a second opinion. I learned that Salem had a highly respected periodontist who was trained in Germany. There Dr Andres Kaindl saw me and suggested that he fix one of the teeth on the right for $700 rather than $7000 by doing a root amputation. The other teeth, he said, were OK. Dr Kaindl did the root amp over two years ago on the one molar. He didn’t do anything to the other one. Both on the right are now just fine. The ones on the left are fine. I now see Dr Kaindl. He is an expert dentist as well as personable and gifted in his field. We are lucky to have him in the valley.

Expected a rough time and my procedure was amazing. The staff, company and Dr. Kaindl has been amazing to work with. They are very professional and good at what they do. I had previously been told I needed periodontal work and was referred to a different local office. At this other office, (Much to my shock and horror) I was told an astronomical $ amount and they wanted me to pay $1000/hr for an remote anesthesiologist. Little did I know the dentist referred me to someone who was not a preferred provider to my insurance. I researched approved providers and Salem Periodontal was a preferred provider. They did not require I be sedated AND now that I have completed the procedure I can confirm I did not need to be. I had a lot of anxiety and apprehension. But they handled me just fine and did amazing work. The procedure itself and recovery was not as bad as I had prepared myself for. I have more work to complete and will continue going back here for a long time. Dr. Kaindl and staff were amazing! Very professional!

Dr Corning is amazing, has a very calm demeanor that helps my anxiousness go away & also allows me to relax. Very professional & doesn’t over charge like most places. Been going here for 3 or 4 years. Have had root canal, skin graphs on my gums and bone graphs behind my molars. Never felt pain once. Never knocked out for a procedure. I am a dental chicken and have halucinated in a dental chair from anxiety. I've been in real life gun battles less scarier than dental procedures. My anxiety has lessened since coming here.
